400 Individuals Converted through Mobile Gaming; Prime Suspect Arrested in Alibag Lodge from Mumbra

Religious Conversion Case: An alarming incident of conversion through an online game has recently been exposed in Ghaziabad. The investigation of this online game has unveiled the conversion activities linked to Mumbra in Thane. The main suspect, Shahnawaz, involved in the mobile gaming jihad case, has been apprehended by the Mumbra police. Shahnawaz was captured at a lodge in Alibag.

Escape from Mumbai’s Worli to Alibag

Shahnawaz, the principal accused in the conversion case affecting 400 individuals, fled from Worli in Mumbai to Alibaug. Upon receiving information that Shahnawaz had escaped to Alibaug from Worli, the Mumbra police conducted a raid and successfully apprehended him. The Uttar Pradesh Police had also been pursuing Shahnawaz.

Approximately 400 People Allegedly Converted in the Mumbra Area

In the case of online game conversion, a shocking revelation has emerged. A minor was coerced into converting to Islam through an online game, leading to the registration of a case in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. During the subsequent police investigation, it was discovered that the conversion threads extended to the Mumbra area in Maharashtra. The police were astounded when a phone call from Gujarat indicated that up to 400 individuals had converted to Islam in Mumbra. To date, five minors have been identified as having converted to Islam. One religious leader has been arrested in connection with this case. Shahnawaz, the primary suspect, had been sought by the police and has now been apprehended.

Conversion Case Surfaces in Vasai as well

Following the revelation of the online game conversion case in Uttar Pradesh, another case emerged in Vasai. Rajesh Jani, a member of the Jani family in Vasai, has been accused by his own family of falling into the conversion trap. He has alleged that after being renamed Mahmood Riaz, he has been subjected to pressure to convert.

Jitendra Awhad Challenges the Police in the Mumbra Conversion Case

Jitendra Awhad has vehemently criticized the Uttar Pradesh Police and the state government regarding the Mumbra conversion case. Awhad boldly challenged that if they could identify four individuals out of the 400 converts, he would resign as an MLA. Accusing the ruling party of resorting to any means to secure electoral victories, Awhad threatened to organize a shutdown in Mumbra on July 1.

Uncovering the Conversion Case

A 17-year-old boy from Ghaziabad, belonging to the Jain community, clandestinely converted to Islam, leaving his family completely unaware. The young man used to secretly visit a mosque in Sector 23 of Ghaziabad to offer namaz. On the pretext of going to the gym, he would disappear five times, and upon investigation by his family, it was revealed that he was attending the mosque. The shocking truth emerged when the boy confessed to his family about his conversion to Islam. Subsequently, a police complaint was filed, unveiling that he had converted through online games.
